Review The IWC Pilot Le Petit Prince Chronograph Blue Dial Watch Replica

Because of this triple date display, the words IWC and Schaffhausen were made smaller and moved to the inside of the running seconds subdial at 9 o' clock. It makes the branding a lot less apparent and quite frankly I like the older branding location better. The red sideways triangle at 3 o' clock matches the red running seconds hand perfectly, adding a bit of color to the dial. The enlarged subdials fill out the dial better now, making it more proportional. Finally, the addition of arabic numerals to mark every 5 minute increments on the outer ring looks surprisingly good. All things considered, I think IWC did a great job redesigning a classic… which is never an easy task. 

Case & Crown

The entire case is brushed, except for the thin bezel around the crystal and the beveled edges on the case. Polished details like this really serve to make the watch sparkle on your wrist. With a lug to lug length of over 53mm, you might think the watch would wear exceptionally large, but really the angle of the lugs curve down dramatically making it very comfortable on my 7” wrist.
IWC Pilot Le Petit Prince Chronograph replica opted to use a 7mm screw-down serrated crown on their 3777 line. I've found it odd that with a screw-down crown the watch is only rated to 60m. I suspect that IWC is being conservative with that rating, but it’s not something I’ll push. This isn't a diver after all. All that being said, the crown is excellently sized and designed for its intended use.

Calibre 79320 Movement

The automatic calibre 79320 chronograph movement inside is a modified Valjoux 7750 movement with a 44-hour power reserve. IWC Pilot Chronograph 377717 fake features a chronograph and day-date complication. In addition, an iron casing protects the movement from magnetism. Since I have owned the watch, time keeping has been spot on.
